EcoMotion is excited to be working to promote a space solar company. We are now working for Solaren, a leading aerospace company which is developing its system with the U.S. Naval Research Laboratories. While EcoMotion specializes on terrestrial based solar, our team is stimulated by the prospect of tapping into a “new” renewable resource to decarbonize electricity, and in turn, buildings, industry, and mobility.

Solaren’s mission is to design, develop, and operate space solar power plants that will be deep in outer space… 22,200 miles in the exosphere in geostationary earth orbit. Using massive rockets carrying huge payloads of solar gear, Solaren aims to tap this virtually limitless source of clean, renewable and baseload solar power. Solar power will be collected in space and then beamed to Earth as radio frequency power. Ground receive stations will then convert the RF power to alternating electricity current which will be fed into utility systems’ grids.
