For Murrieta Valley Unified School District (MVUSD), EcoMotion is managing a 20-campus exterior lighting retrofit involving nearly 4,395 fixture upgrades. Funded by California’s Proposition 39, the retrofit will upgrade parking lot, courtyard, and other exterior lights to LED technology while cutting energy use by 45% and annual costs by nearly $200,000. Four gymnasiums are also included in the retrofit project. For MVUSD, EcoMotion has managed the procurement phase – including contractor selection and contract completion – and will provide project management and quality control services throughout installation.
